Ever seen a bin making music? Artist Dominic Wilcox designed the ‘Xylophone Bin’ for a charity performance. When the pedal is pressed the lid opens, releasing a ball that travels down a ‘helterskelter’ set of xylophone steps around the bin. Each time the ball hits a step, a note is played.

Also his work the Nimbus a ceiling light made from glued together polystyrene balls.

Thanks to Jon for the tip.

“After Dutch holey cheese, there now is a Dutch font with holes as well.”

Save up to 20% of ink and toner by using ‘Ecofont’ a new font developed by Spranq creative communication (Netherlands). As the answer of how much of a letter can be removed while maintaining readability, the font has got holes in every character.

‘Ecofont’ is available for PC and Mac free from here.

It’s Christmas! Time of sending cards to all the loved once. Jonathan Yuen turned the packaging into the gift itself. These cards have pre-cut shapes which are popped out and build to create little 3D figures.

His new card design The___Card allows you to use the same card for every event. The pre-cuts can be popped out creating an individual message.
