In his book ‘Made you look’ he not only shows his successful designs but also the rejected once.

Alan Fletcher Exhibition Design Museum

British graphic designer Alan Fletcher is being an inspiration for a lot of designers. His way of communicating the message is very simple but witty. He also used found materials to produce humorous collages.

His books ‘Picturing and Poeting’ and ‘The Art of Looking Sidways’ are already on my bookshelf. I strongly suggest you to have a look!

I first saw british Graphic designer Si Scott‘s work watching the BBC series ‘The Secret of Drawing’ and was absolutely amazed by his work.

Most of his type illustrations are handdrawn and then scanned into the computer.

In the title sequence Si Scott is shown doing the text illustration.
