The Layout

The layout for the ‘X’ Magazine is based on the Fibonacci numbers. 

Leonardo di Pisa alias Fibonacci was an Italian mathematician (12/13th century). He generated the Fibonacci numbers a sequence of numbers who are found everywhere in nature. By using this numbers for layout, architecture, music and so on pieces are created who seem simple perfect to the human eye or ear.

The magazine format is 21×21 and opens to a portrait format. The main elements like title, product, text, the borders are based on the Fibonacci sequence. To give you some foretaste how it looks like here are two of my double page spreads.
